Nicholas Krehbiel, Ph.D.

Owner

Nicholas A. Krehbiel is the founder and principal consultant of Agri-Prime Consulting, where he helps businesses and cooperatives cultivate stronger leadership, improve organizational performance, and build sustainable success. With a career rooted in both executive leadership and education, Nicholas brings a unique blend of strategic insight and practical experience to every engagement.

Before launching Agri-Prime, Nicholas spent fifteen years in management with cooperatives in Kansas and Iowa, where he developed a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing today’s agribusiness leaders. His hands-on experience in guiding teams, managing operations, and driving organizational change gives him a real-world perspective that resonates with clients across the agricultural landscape.

A published author and experienced educator, Nicholas holds a B.A. and M.A. from Fort Hays State University and a Ph.D. from Kansas State University. His academic foundation, combined with years of frontline leadership, allows him to bridge theory and practice in a way that’s both insightful and actionable.

Through Agri-Prime Consulting, Nicholas partners with boards, executives, and managers to strengthen leadership pipelines, facilitate strategic planning, and drive organizational alignment—always guided by his firm’s core philosophy: Cultivating Success Together.

Dale Gilyard

Consultant

With over 47 years of experience in agribusiness, Dale brings unmatched insight into operational efficiency and shrink management. His career spans 17 years with a multinational grain company, where he served as Superintendent, Location Manager, and Grain Origination Specialist. Dale also spent 20 years in the cooperative system, holding key leadership roles including Location Manager, Region Manager, Director of Grain Operations, and CEO. For the past decade, he has worked independently and as an owner/partner, providing ag coaching and operational analytics. Dale’s deep industry knowledge and practical experience make him a trusted resource for implementing effective shrink management systems.

Brad Perry

Consultant

Brad is a seasoned veteran of 40 years in the agribusiness consulting and finance industry, formerly of Perry and Associates. He has performed countless merger studies, facilitations, and project analyses for companies throughout the United States and internationally.
